Paul Martin Martin Aboriginal Education The Right Honourable Paul Martin was the 21st prime minister of Canada from 2003 to 2006 and minister of finance from 1993 to 2002. He served as the member of Parliament for LaSalle-Émard in Montreal, Que., from 1988 to 2008. Currently, he leads the Martin Aboriginal Education Initiative, which aims at reducing the aboriginal youth dropout rate and at increasing the number of aboriginal students attending postsecondary institutions.
